★이 음반은 1927년부터 1939년까지를 모두 수록한 '안드레스 세고비아 초기 명연집'이다. 세고비아가 가장 활동이 왕성했던 시기의 곡들로 비록 일부일지언정, 기타를 위한 젊음의 온갖 넋과 모든 정성을 다 드려 연주한 곡인지라 어느 한곡 한곡 아니 어느 한마디 마디 놓칠 수 없는 감명의 순간으로 우리들을 다시 일깨우는 정말 명반중의 명반으로 꼽으면서 듣고 또 들으며 더욱 진가를 느낀다. 세고비아의 SP는 하늘의 별을 따듯 구하기 힘들다. LP도 마찬가지이다. 듣다보면 그가 혼신을 다해 연주하는 음악적 정기와 테크닉에 압도되어 무어라 표현하기 힘들 정도로 벅차오른다.
